Our policy regarding Coronavirus (Covid-19)

First and foremost Bev and Toby welcome you to Mansefield Guest House; and our apologies if we don't shake your hand or give you a big hug, or even both, when you arrive!

Go To Go Covid Prepared

We will do our utmost to make your stay with us as comfortable and memorable (for the right reasons) as possible during these difficult times. Bev and Toby treat your safety and wellbeing with the utmost priority, and this is reflected in our daily operational procedures and cleaning program, as recommended by WHO (World Health Organisation), the UK Government and the Scottish Government. We are holders of the AA Covid Confident Award, as well as the 'Good To Go' certificate which is the official UK-wide mark to show that our business is following Covid-19 best practice.
To that end, we ask that you respect our slightly altered mode of operation, with some of our adjustments being listed below.

  • Prior to your arrival, please inform us if you are arriving from outside the UK, or have been to a "high risk" location within the UK (further information is available from the UK government and Scottish government websites).
  • If you are showing signs of Covid-19, contact us immediately to change/cancel your booking and please do not travel to us.
  • Social distancing applies throughout our house, wherever possible.
  • We have automatic (contactless) sanitiser dispensers for your use within the public areas, located inside the front door and the first floor landing.

  • Public area cleaning and disinfecting of all high touch items, such as door knobs and stairway banister rails, will be frequently done throughout the day.
  • Your room will not be accessed during your stay by Bev or Toby, unless requested.

Sorry, but for the time being we can no longer provide printed non-laminated information regarding activities, places of interest, places to eat and drink, places of worship, travel timetables.
